Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related quantitative field.

• Professional certification in Business Intelligence (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist) is advantageous.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial or team lead capacity.

• Experience working in the telecommunications, fintech, or financial services industry

• Proven experience working with senior management and executive stakeholders

• Experience using advanced SQL, BI tools, and data analytics platforms

• Track record of leading predictive analytics, customer analytics, and revenue optimization initiatives

Job SummaryJob Summary

The Manager – BI & Analytics leads BI, reporting, and analytics for the marketing division, enabling data-driven decisions across revenue and customer initiatives.

The role focuses on developing BI strategies, creating dashboards and automated reports, and delivering insights through advanced analytics such as customer segmentation, churn analysis, and campaign evaluation.

It also ensures data accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement of BI tools, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and building a strong analytics team.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesDuties & Responsibilities

The Manager – BI & Analytics role will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:

  • Lead the Business Intelligence, reporting, and advanced analytics function for the marketing division, establishing standards, methodologies, and best practices for all BI activities.
  • Develop and execute BI strategies aligned with commercial, customer, and revenue growth objectives, ensuring analytics initiatives directly support business priorities.
  • Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on revenue, recharge, subscriber behavior, product performance, and market trends, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to stakeholders.
  • Design and manage executive dashboards, automated reporting systems, and performance scorecards that provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Drive customer segmentation, customer lifetime value (CLV) analysis, churn analysis, and campaign effectiveness measurement to optimize marketing ROI and customer retention.
  • Provide strategic insights to support product development, pricing strategies, and customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Lead predictive analytics initiatives for forecasting revenue, customer trends, and market opportunities, enabling proactive business planning.
  • Ensure data governance, reporting accuracy, and integrity across all BI systems, establishing quality controls and validation processes.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Finance, IT, and Networks teams for integrated decision support, breaking down silos and enabling cross-functional analytics.
  • Manage and mentor BI analysts, reporting specialists, and data teams, fostering professional development and building analytical capabilities.
  • Support senior leadership with strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights, translating complex data into clear business narratives.
  • Monitor competitor performance, market intelligence, and regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance and competitive awareness.
  • Continuously improve BI tools, automation capabilities, and analytical methodologies, driving efficiency and innovation in reporting and analytics.
