Managing and maintaining BTS and MW links frequency licenses, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesDuties & Responsibilities
  • Apply for new BTS and MW link licenses: This involves preparing and submitting applications to the relevant regulatory team (ATRA – Frequency Management Department) including providing technical specifications, site information, and clarifications for BTS and MW applications.
  • Modify existing licenses: Updating existing licenses for changes such as technology upgrades to 4G, new physical sites, re-deployment, link rerouting, capacity upgrades, frequency band changes, and ODU serial number changes. This requires preparing and submitting modification requests and coordinating with internal teams to implement the changes.
  • Prepare and submit renewal applications, ensuring all required information is accurate and up to date.
  • Update license records with equipment new serial numbers as needed.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of all BTS, MW link licenses, including application details, modification history, and renewal dates.
  • Prepare regular reports on license status, compliance, and any outstanding issues.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation to regulatory team for license applications and modifications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., network planning, field engineering) to gather necessary information and ensure accurate application submissions.
  • Follow up with regulatory Teams, to ensure timely renewal and address any issues or requests for clarification.
  • Conduct regular audits of BTS and MW link licenses to ensure compliance with license terms and conditions.
  • Address any compliance issues identified during audits or through regulatory inquiries.
  • Coordinate with field engineering teams to ensure accurate tracking of ODU equipment.
  • Maintain regular communication with ATRA Teams to track the status of license applications and modifications.
  • Respond to inquiries from regulatory bodies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by ATRA related departments.
