Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) will be an advantage.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, budgeting, or finance operations.
  • Experience in telecom industry finance functions preferred.

Knowledge: 

  • Financial acumen and understanding of financial reporting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting principles.
  • General knowledge of overall business operations.
  • Performance appraisal and team development methodologies
  • Process improvement and automation initiatives within the financial reporting function

Job SummaryJob Summary

The Supervisor – Financial Reporting is responsible for supporting financial reporting, budget monitoring, and expenditure control functions. The role ensures accurate classification of expenditures (CAPEX/OPEX), budget compliance, variance analysis, purchase order budget validation, and regulatory reporting support. The position plays a key role in enhancing financial transparency, budget discipline, and effective cost management to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesDuties & Responsibilities

Key Tasks:  

  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against approved budgets.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting activities.
  • Assist in preparing financial performance dashboards and management reports.
  • Track capital expenditure (CAPEX) utilization against approved budgets.
  • Ensure CAPEX spending is properly recorded and monitored.
  •  Review and classify expenditures into CAPEX and OPEX based on accounting standards.
  • Ensure accurate financial treatment of expenditures to support reporting accuracy.
  • Conduct budget versus actual analysis and identify variances by cost class and department.
  • Monitor departmental budget utilization and highlight overspending or underutilization.
  • Support budget control mechanisms to improve cost efficiency.
  • Review purchase requisitions and purchase orders against approved budgets.
  • Perform budget availability checks before PO process
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of financial reports required by ATRA.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments for data collection during Budget preparation.
  •  Maintain budget records and supporting documentation.
  • Support audit requirements related to budgeting and reporting.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
